This incredible weather along with the appearance of all the new leaves and grass just makes me look forward to class that much more! It's real "sweat-er" weather you know? Spring for Austin Kung Fu and Tai Chi means classes with the doors wide open, while the smell of.....mountain laurel (haha, you thought I was going to say something stinky didn't you) wafts into the training room. Spears in the parking lot and tai chi to the sound of the twittering birds all around us.
I can't wait to join my fellow classmates Thursday night for 3rd, 4th and 5th degree class! Working on lots of new material, drilling the hua forms and working up a good sore for Friday!
Master Joe and Sifu Paul evidently had a great time at the weekend seminars in Lexington, so you know you can expect some great classes this weekend at Shaolin-Do!
This is my first blog, but I plan to keep posting some of the crazy antics I see in class along with the awesome workouts and material we're working on. Have a great day everyone!
